Found them in a green, brackish lake older than civilization—saltwater seeping up through limestone, carrying the ocean's memory.Â
What happened:Â
Millions of golden jellyfish, descendants of those caught when ancient seas rose. They've been drifting here, following the suns arc for 12,000 years, and for one afternoon, so did I.
